Engine Project

I have a Subaru Legacy which I recently learned has a problem with blowing cylinder head gaskets. The past week has been dedicated to extracting the engine from the vehicle.

Update. The heads are flat. There's no wear on the shims. Overall, the engine is in really good shape--save the head gasket. We're in the re-assembly phase.
